Hi, I have built a similar application for a college (Results were shown to student and this result data was fetched from a MySQL database). I used PHP's Slim framework to make API calls but this method is not strictly the only way. I know atleast two more ways to do this. We have to host the database (Excel in your case) on a server. In addition, if you need some minimal design for the app, I can do that as well. I can show you screenshots of my Results app for the college as mentioned above. Please let me know. Thank you.
