Purpose of the website is: - To generate high volume traffic, creating a resource for Exeter in the United Kingdom. - To generate a revenue income stream from Google Ad's, direct advertising, and affiliate marketing - Minimal work for upkeep by utilising automated systems and feeds to keep the website fresh, relevant and updated. Technical - English Language Only - Website built to support all major browsers - Website compatible with mobile devices - Website to be built in line with maximum SEO capabilities - NO use of directory listing farms to be used ! - Website to be set up with Google Analytics - Account details to be provided by me - No horizontal scroll in browser, page must fit width of all screens/browsers Specific Tasks 1. Logo design and strapline 2. Page layout and design for entire website – clean, fresh, easy to read/navigate (Lots of advertising space) 3a. Multi menu system (menu/sub-menu to be provided by me, potentially 50 pages) 3b. You will need to source relevant (local to Exeter) feeds to populate these pages with updated, relevant information (RSS feeds ?) 4. Classified Ad system (allowing visitors to place ads online and receive email notifications of people interested) 5. Discussion Forum (Topics to be provided by me) - fully functioning allowing users to create accounts and post on the forum. 6. Full SEO of website (potential for ongoing contract with you to maintain optimal SEO) 7. Source, identify and build in relevant affiliate marketing companies for Exeter area 8. Cookie Policy to comply with UK law A competitors site will be provided to interested parties for further research purposes.
