Assign a cutom font style to a PowerPoint Theme

A power point template exists but what we need is a theme for the document with the colours and fonts (heading font and body font). Because there are a few different slide styles re layout (Back Ground colours/circle graphics etc), the master slide set up we’ve used is the correct way of managing this within the one doc - however it’s the theme that creates the pre-set colours and fonts, which means when we create a new text box, the font will automatically be the default font, and when we create a new chart/graph, the colours/fonts will automatically be present as well. We’ve set the theme colours in the PPT file already... But the Mac version won’t let us asign a custom font.
