Re: Create and E-Learning course; To create learning modules I prefer to work in Articulate Storyline, I often build portions in Microsoft PowerPoint to determine layout and then import it into Articulate and complete any formatting or additional animations there. It is my understanding that this contract is for the completion of a stand alone module on a single subject. If this is the case, I could complete the initial project in under 5 days. If content material is provided I would organize the material into a natural progression, and for each sub topic I would put explanatory content, an example and an activity – with as much interaction built in to maintain the interest of the user, designing it specifically for an identified target audience. I have recently completed a consultant contract with Fisheries and Oceans Canada’s Conservation and Protection Branch, which has involved leading the development of an e-Learning module to train Fishery Officers on recent program changes. I created the draft module in PowerPoint, I used Articulate Storyline to convert it into a SCORM compatible e-learning file format. I'm currently on an additional contract as a Program Officer, leading the development of a learning module that teaches Fishery Officers how to use the new Compliance Enforcement System through a step by step tutorial. I am eager to grow my E-Learning portfolio and feel that this project would be a good fit.
