Hi, I'm in the process of starting a record label and I need a logo for the website/Twitter/Facebook, etc. The label is called 'Past Tense Records'. The label's name is a 'tip of the hat' to older 90's hip hop but that's not necessarily the sound we'll be focusing on ourselves. It's a UK hip hop label but I want to avoid the generic graffiti/deck being scratched/microphone artwork that 90% of hip hop artists/labels seem to have used for the last 20 years. I'd definitely like to take more polished and clean approach. I'm open to people's ideas but I imagine a logo of some description using the words 'Past Tense' or initials 'PT' would be good along with a clear text section at the bottom that says 'Past Tense Records'. This would need to be clear enough so that it still makes sense when viewed in a small format such as a Twitter profile picture on a smartphone screen. The website background will either be black or a light colour so different outlines need to be considered. I'd need a final copy of the file in vectorised .eps format with outlines and font information included (if applicable) for future use.
