Book Cover Design

The project is a front book cover design for a hardback book. Applicants must be willing to keep the specific details of this project confidential. Further details of specification for this project will be privately messaged to preferred bidders. Please note that the winning bidder will be required to sell the copyright to the cover design and will also be expected to send (or scan over) a hand-signed copy of the confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement. This project is likely to best suit a skilled and highly creative illustrator, experienced in the production of full colour front covers for hardback book manuscripts. It would be helpful if bidders were prepared to create at least two sample cover designs and could attach examples of previously designed book covers or other graphic design portfolios of past work. The cover is predicted to be colourful and filled with a lot of artwork/ graphic imagery. No photographs are expected to feature on the cover. Any high resolution JPEG compatible design format will be acceptable, as long as the resolution is high. The book is a brief collection of anecdotes and personal experiences of a teenage girl obtained within the UK private fee paying school environment. Discussions of the ethos and characteristic traits of the British fee- paying educational landscape will form core points of mention within the manuscript. The book has been provisionally entitled “Memoirs From A Private School“, however this title is subject to change as several other titles are also being considered. The tone of the book is somewhat salacious, as content will include somewhat saucy elements and examples of racy humour; however neither pornographic or crude humour will be included within the book or reflected within the front cover.
