Data Analysis and Reporting

I have two Excel spreadsheets of data which I need to get some analysis and reporting carried out on please. Details for the Excel data that needs analysis are: Excel spreadsheet 1. Details for hotel booking costs - the spreadsheet "HotelBookings_Freelancer" contains 6 worksheets of hotelbookings, dates, days stayed and $ cost. Each worksheet holds data for a financial year (1 July - 30 June). I need analysis carried out and reporting provided that will tell me: - the average cost of a hotel room per night for each month for each financial year - average cost per room per month for the whole period of 2007-2013 - the average cost per room for each total financial year - average cost per room for each different hotel per year and also per month in each financial year - total spend on all hotel bookings per financial year - total spend by each hotel for each financial year - Total spend each year by month - A list of all hotels used each financial year - A list of all hotels used during the total time period. Excel Spreadsheet 2. The second spreadsheet "BegaAvisrentals for analysis" contains 5 worksheets of data showing hire car bookings by company, pick up (forward) date and $ cost for each financial year. I need analysis and reporting to show me the following: - Total cost for hire car usage per year (financial year as displayed on the worksheets) - Total cost for hire car usage by each company per year - Total cost for hire car each month for each year - if possible I'd like to work out average cost for a hire car per day of use Note. Will use the 'Forward Date' as the date for the hire car booking We can confirm the analysis to be carried out once you have had a chance to review the data but this gives you a good idea of what needs to be done. Accuracy in the analysis is essential and I need to have all the data, analysis and reporting provided back to me so that I can edit the source data at a later date if I need to and see the new reporting results. Tidy, accurate analysis is essential. Any value add analysis or reporting/displays that you can provide will be valued in your proposal. Timeframe - I'd like to have this completed by Monday 10th.
