I looking for someone to guide me in the steps of CFD simulation with ANSYS fluent for a water spray within a small channel with air stream..... where the water droplets (mist) evaporate and cool the air and the walls before I hire you, you have to take a look to the project, this DropBox link have an example of the Project: [login to view URL] in this step file you will find one channel of the heat exchanger, the air is coming from the top left corner, if you go there you will find a nozzle, a water spray will be mixed with the air stream and go through the heat exchanger channel (the Diamond shape) and leave from the bottom right corner. you need to teach me how to do it as I need to redo the same simulation with many variables to be changed. so you will find a file in the link, in STEP format the shape of the heat exchanger should be vertical diamond, the triangles are upward and downward at the top left will be the nozzle, spray water (misting) with air stream (1-2.5 m/s velocity) at the same direction the rest is what you mentioned if you did it before then we can reach fast deal so in simple word, the model I sent you is a single channel in my heat exchanger, my heat exchanger is a parallel plates heat exchanger, with counter flow, the odd numbered channels would be air - water mixture, and the even numbered are dry air channels the water is sprayed to the air stream, either from the top as in the attached file, or the sides from multiple nozzles .....or mixture of both..... this air water mixture with the evaporation of the water film from the walls would cause a temperature drop at the walls, and thus cooling the air on the dry channels by convection other technical details, like the turbulence model for example, it's up to you as an expert to choose the one that would make the simulation softer, but it should be turbulent flow not laminar

I am professional in Fluent software, and I can complete your project on time, but first, I need to know more about your task. the most important things is validation of the model. if you have enough data? i always read the papers about the water waste in Australia by evaporative air conditioning. why you want to use water for cooling process. modeling the systems like solar air conditioner might be better. it's just my recommendation.
