If you dont want to give account, you give me good feedback at least. 1. answer: there is a case that cosine and city block distance is the equal. e.g: x=(0,1), y=(0,2): cosine = 1, city block distance = 1; 2. answer: d(x,z)=sum{abs(xi-zi)} = sum{abs(xi-yi+yi-zi)}<=sum{abs(xi-yi)}+sum{abs(yi-zi)}=d(x,y)+d(y,z); therefore, measure axiom is satisfied.
