Hi. I am an Australian theoretical physicist currently working in fisheries modelling. A strange combination, sure, but it means that I live and breathe data, and am familiar with a wide range of data types and data processing methods. Being Australian (Adelaide) I am on a very similar clock to you, so I'll be available at times that suit you. I am well versed at working with Excel for the types of processing you are requesting - much of the work I do has components where the data is processed in Excel similar to what you have described. If you wish for a more complete and robust solution, I can tailor a short program to your needs that will take your records as input and return the summaries/graphs you are after. I would do this in the R programming language, in which I am very efficient and skilled. All that would be required of you would be to have the files in one folder and to run the program - no data entry on your part (hopefully). It would also output an Excel file with the data entered for you for verification/further investigation. All of this could be completed within my bid (either purely in Excel or as a seperate program) with room for customization at your specification.
