I will send you a book written in german, 881kb. I need you to go through the book, pick out each word, and copy it to a text document with the translation. You can find translations at www.dict.cc. The text file you create must look like this:
...
windig:windy
das wetter:the weather
kalt:cold
verbringen:to spend (time)
verbringen:to take (to an institution)
finden:to find
fand:found
...
Note particularly that nouns need the gender (der/das/die), and that if a word has more than one meanings, include all of them. The book will also include things that are not real words, like proper names (John, Berlin, Cery, etc) which do not need to be included in the text file. I expect the completed text file will have perhaps 10,000 entries in it, but this is just a rough estimate, it will probably be less.
You will also need to notice that, in my example above, "fand" is the past form of "finden". This does not matter. Every word in the text should be included, even if it is a form of another, as the point of this is to create an accurate lookup table for the book allowing any word to be matched to its english equivalent.
It is vital that you copy everything CORRECTLY SPELLED.
This is in the nature of a test; if it goes well, I will want to do the same for a number of other books, but only if the file you send me is usable.
