Hello,
I have two IP Cameras (H.264 video output) and I use Visual Studio (I own both 2010 and 2013) & OpenCV (v 2.49) on C++ Language for programming.
For some reason, I am not able to generate live stream on C++ environment, even though I can get it on "ONVIF" and "VLC Media Player".
Here is this project's scope:
1- You connect to my computer via a remote desktop software (preferably Ammyy) - I connect my IP cameras to the ethernet and open my ONVIF device manager to show you the RTSP address path and live feed.
2- You open up my Visual Studio software remotely and setup a new project, paste your code and make the modifications accordingly for both cameras.
2.1- You add the extra plug-ins, extensions, libraries on the spot if necessary.
3- You run the code on my Visual Studio, we watch the live stream together, confirm.
That's it. Should only take 5 minutes of your time if you have any past experience on this. More image processing tasks coming up right after this.
Hi,
I have done rtsp streaming with OpenCV 2.4.8 in Windows using MSVS2010. In order to pin point the problem you are having I need following information
What is the opencv version you are using?
How did you install it? (did you compile it or did you use pre compiled binary)
How are you using it in Visual Studio? Are you using Visual Studio Windows application.
Thanks.
Asanka.
