Hi, I’ve had a good look at your project description and I’m very interested in providing a solution. I have 4+ hands on experience on developing quality web solutions as well as desktop standalone solutions. I used to develop systems using latest adaptive technology such as 1. .NET/ASP.NET - MVC4,MVC5 - Entity Framework - SQL - C# (for .NET solutions) 2. JQuery/Javascript/HTML5 - Angular.js/Bootstrap etc (for designing and front end implementations) I want to start work immediately and awaiting for your positive response on skp id "agilepksolutions" so I can show you some of my Quality Development Work as well as we can discuss project in details. Thank you.

Hi, I'm new to this site and couldn't find the option to attach diagram/files to this proposal, so I'll just go along with text. My guess is your app looks something like this: Mainframe (MF) -> Mainframe Service (MFS) -> Your Web App (YWA) -> Web clients (WC) Option 1 The MF trigger updates a local file (any minimal/fastest update that causes the file's timestamp to change) which your MFS looks up each time YWA calls MFS. If the file's timestamp has changed since the last time it was read by MFS, then MFS returns FILE_CHANGED_STATUS to YWA so that YWA calls the exchange rate service. If MFS returns FILE_UNCHANGED_STATUS, then YWA doesn't access MF and uses cached values instead. If YWA has direct access to the file thru some HTTP-accessible location, you can actually query for the file yourself to inspect if its timestamp had changed using a HEAD request for the file. This will further free up MF/MFS resources. Option 2 The MF trigger updates a local file (any minimal/fastest update that causes the file's timestamp to change) . MFS listens on the file and when it detects the file had changed, MFS will update a Firebase database. WC Javascript code will immediately be notified of the change (built-in feature of Firebase using web sockets) and the user is notified real-time. YWA can then call MFS to get the latest rates. Aside from JavaScript code, you can also create Windows client app (Windows service, Win Form, WCF client, etc.) to subscribe to Firebase notifications.

I assume that I need to answer your question: You already said that "pulling" data from mainfraime by calling web service will generate high load. So you suggesting "pushing" data to web service. This way web service will request data from mainfraime only if trigger told to do it (or once per day). Then this data will be stored in web app (web service) cache (let's say in a dictionary). Whoever will call web service will get data from cache. mainframe --------| | | trigger ---------------------------| | | ------- | -------|cache|--- | | ------- | | | | | web service external web service internal | | | | browser on remote computer Thank you, Serge Klokov, developer
