There is document conversion service (Windows service) based on OpenOffice and test solution with 1000 documents for testing. Your tasks are: 1. Add WEB API 2 (hosted using OWIN/Katana or similar) and make suggestions for better solutions 2. Create API to accept and respond files in different formats for conversion - discuss API methods before actually creating these 3. Create API client (dll) and modify test solution to use that API client 4. Modify service and test solution to use NLog, following coding best practices, commenting code and adding error handling 5. Run 10 test solutions with 1000 test documents concurrently and fix concurrency issues in conversion process - in production environment there are several clients converting files at same time Technology: C#, .Net 4.5.x., NLog, JSON, OpenOffice 4.1.x Proposed milestone scheme: 0. There is no initial milestone payment 1. WEB API and client created and working - 30% 2. Concurrency tested and fixed - 30% 3. Final release - code is documented, everything can be tested and is working - 40% Files added: Source-20150206... is conversionservice + test solution. Other files are test data. Please read requirements before making a proposal.
