We need to get code optimized for 2 single stand alone html pages so that it will autodetect the device being used, it will either go to the Desktop version (1st html Page), Or the 2nd html page for mobile / tablet / iphone/ ipad / android that will autodetect device and scale the page to fit the screen. We currently have pages that are css and javascript to demonstrate the product, but we are hitting issues with screen sizes on mobile devices, as well as working with Flash Video / HTML5 video within the pages, for end use to use html files with videos embedded to play video instream within facebook. We are unsure whether Javascript or JQuery is better for this project.

Hi, Can you share url of pages created ? You will need one page and code will automatically adjust page as per screen. I will be using css techniques to develop page. Also video you are using are hosted at youtube, vimeo or on your own server. Waiting for your respond.

I assume you were debating Javascript only vs using a framework like jQuery. I think you will have better long term maintenance with a project that uses jQuery. Not many people know how to do the things that jQuery does without it. Most of the issues you are describing should be able to be fixed with CSS, but without seeing an example it is hard to know what issues you are facing. You also noted Facebook. I am assuming you are trying to create a Facebook app/tab. That makes the build of the site a little different based on how Facebook Deals with mobile devices. I will be able to get video playing on the mobile page and make sure it looks right for iOS and android.
