At first, look into the list of topics, select one that is interesting to you, conduct some initial research, and narrow down the scope. 2. On November 11, the instructor will briefly meet each student to note down the topics being selected. 3. This research paper project has two deliverables. • The first deliverable is a paper draft that consists of an outline your initial research findings and discussion points, and an initial reference list. This deliverable is due by 11:55 p.m., Sunday, November 17, via LMS. • The second deliverable is the final research paper, which is due by 11:55 p.m., Friday, December 6, via LMS. 4. Consult with the instructor if you need guidance in understanding the topic, or/and finding the literature. Consult with the Learning Center if you need help for writing. 5. The final research paper should have a minimum of 1750 words (excluding title, author information, abstract, and references) and at least three references. 6. Paper format: • Font size – 11 or 12 point; Single spacing; 1” margin all around • Page numbers in the footer 7. Paper organization: • Title • Author’s information • Abstract • Introduction • Literature Review • Discussion • Conclusion • References 8. The final research paper is grade by: • Evidence of conducting relevant research to the selected topic • Evidence of using and linking real-world examples to the selected topics • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the selected topic • Demonstrate some analytical skills when synthesizing the literature • Demonstrate some critical thinking skills when discussing the research findings • The paper meets the requirements of word count, formatting, organization and references. • The paper is well organized, properly formatted, and has no spelling or grammatical errors. 9. The Turnitin tool will be used to check the plagiarism.
