Will need a software for an IP Intercom system. All devices, outdoor unit and indoor units from the flats will be connected via LAN (RJ45) and/ or wireless network. All system will be based on Android / iOS Tablets, Network Switch and 1 relay to open the door. This product must be available to work with Android and iOS devices. We are working on a project for a VOIP intercom hardware with an Server on embedded linux with custom Asterix Build with proprietary modules. We also want to built an IOS and Android client application that will control the hardware and configure the server. Our project is in the home automation and Voip telecommunication industry. Project will have two parts and will mainly be using off shelf hardware with custom firmware configurations. This project consists of migrating the firmware on an electronic controller from IAR Embedded Workbench to the latest version of Code Composer Studio. This controller is based on the TI MSP430 microprocessor. After the firmware is migrated, five small behavioral changes are needed in the firmware. We developed a wireless product (Zigbee) based on MSP430. It would be desirable to do software upgrades over the wireless link. A dual image scheme is prefered, IE while the processor run on image A it gets image B , then swap the images. The flow would be to receive packets from the air, the code within the packets shall be burnt in the FLASH memeory into "Download area" which is above 0xFFFF , once the entire image B is verifyed the swap occurs. Feel free to propose any other solution for the problem.
