I do have a problem that most find to difficult. The budget is up for debate if you can do the job. Wayland had a backend that streams screen content to another computer using MJPEG. As this is very CPU intense I want to encode the stream to H.265 using the GPU instead. This must all happen without copying any waw data to the CPU, only the compressed stream. The API for doing this is VAAPI although I think that gstreamer can do it as well.

This should be a very quick job. I have a single page that plays an array of IP camera webstreams (MJPEG) and MP4. There are filters, timers and other stuff that are too difficult to explain here. Everything was working a couple of years ago but it no longer plays the MP4 files. My guess is that Chrome and Mozilla have updated something so that the code will need to be tweaked? As I said, everything else works so all I want is for the mp4 playback to be fixed and leave everything else working as it is. Here is a link to the page so you can see if you can fix it.

We have a number of mjpeg videos that need to be auto corrected for brightness, saturation, gamma and contrast. Each video frame is stitched together from 5 separate videos to create a panoramic video. The resulting frames have darker bands where the separate images are joined and we need these darker bands to be automatically adjusted to better match the surrounding brightness. At the same time, we would like the overall image to be auto-adjusted for saturation, contrast, gamma and brightness. Please see the attached sample image which shows the darker bands.
Nowadays we are creating a security system using IP Cameras. We already have everything, the cameras, the webpage, the VPN connection, but we are transmitting the streaming using MJPEG and due to it there is a huge delay (about 30 seconds). Our tecnical support uses this configurator to get in contact with each sensor and configure them. Our new version has the webrtc installed and works perfectly in chrome and firefox.
