This new metal structure shall be fixed to the existing concrete structure by drilling and Chemfix with appropriate sized threaded bar, nuts and washes. It should be noted that 2nr concrete deep pad foundations have already been installed to align with the 2nr vertical RSJ/UB’s. As will be seen from the sketches provided approximately 45% of the area of the steel structure will be used to create a canopy. The remaining 55% remains open to atmosphere.
