Hello Freelancer, We are looking for a snow/wind load parameters for the geodesic dome structures that we import and sell in the USA and Canada. The structures are made of galvanized steel pipes connected by bolts. The cover of the domes is made of double PVC coated polyester fabric. This domes are temporary structures that can be used in a variety ways. One of them is a dwelling. So we get asked a lot for the wind and snow load parameters. The production facility is in China. I have all the information about the structure that I hope is sufficient to calculate the loads. Ideal candidate would have a USA/Canadian Engineering licence.

I have an idea and I want you to make my vision a reality. (at least on paper that is) I would like to get an initial design for 25 metres diameter sphere and 50 metres diameter sphere. Would like spheres to float then be able to be submerged. (I think this can be done by flooding of pipes??) 200mm (od) HDPE SR17 pipe comes in 6m, 9m, 12m length (water pipe).
