The edit is usually done in the late afternoon, evening, and night within a single day. We would expect the editing shift to be from approximately 03:00 pm - 01:00 am, so a little overnight work is anticipated. The edit is approved at about 01:00am (or before), because it includes some footage that comes from an evening element of the event (a gala dinner and party).
