SPA based free text search Grid component (Research)
The project involved improvising the search by providing a simple "free text" search along wuth auto suggestions for faster input. The idea was to make it as simple yet as powerful as possible. Provide diff types of filter for the same field and also allow the user to AND or OR them, even invert the whole search! Some highlights – o Suggestive filters like StartsWith, EndsWith, Contains, Equals. o Invert filters and diff combination of AND or OR filters. o Add multiple filters and remove any filter OTG. o Regular expression based fast/clean search logic. o Dynamic eval(js expression) based code squeezes logic/complexity by 60-70%. o Displays filter in a user friendly manner (fb like Tag Manager). o Basic auto input correction in filter listing to allow graceful input. o Selective row grouping based on sorting o (Frozen) Also derive date filters for After, Before and From ... To filter.
