We are looking for a front AND back end developer for 3-6-month project. You will work with a team of 3 quant developers of web-based apps that use statistical models to produce forecasts, and mathematical analysis applied for to the energy sector. We are looking for a sharp and skilled programmer with strong maths background to join our team. This contract includes multiple sub-projects. You must be experienced with JavaScript, Python and Bootstrap.
Please note that we are creating a Rich Web Application, not a website/blog/etc. We have specification available for applicants to review upon request.
The first task will be to extract public data from a website that publishes market prices using a scheduler (rqworker) and populate a MySQL database with these prices.
