I have an application developed in .net and access. The application has Two form, 1st Form is used to enter the DATA and second form is having DataGridView, where you can see the records inserted and rectify it. It has 43 fields the fields are case sensitive and have date and email field. There is around 32000 records to be inserted, out of which around 12000 records have been already inserted. You have to insert the remaining and check the rest, there should be 100% accuracy. I the work to be completed before 26th June. If the accuracy is less than 100% there would be no pay. I’m writing an application in vb.net (2008). Much of it is client server using sql server 2k. The basic approach I take for data entry/lookup is that first the users gets a DataGridView (readonly) that shows tabular data of the table, and then if they click on a row another form is opened where they can edit/add/delete. I changed the DataAdapters Update/Insert functions to use my stored procedures. And here I ran into a problem. I am not succeeding in getting the Update and Insert working with the Modified/Timestamp. (error: cannot be converted to a 1-dimentional array of byte.)
