Movement
Movement provides the customer with all of the basic neccessities required to refinish or restore aged antiques. Contained in recylable glass, the outer wrappers not only function as labels, but are made of linen that can be used to apply the product. An additional sandpaper wrapper beneath the linen can be used to prepare the surface before product application. The outer box is made from reclaimed wood and has been left unfinished so that the consumer may use it to test the products before applying them to their valued antiques. While the products themselves may not be eco friendly, the packaging more than makes up for it.\n\nPlaying on the idea that most anitiques sprung forth from a variety of style movements throughout the years, Movement uses glyphs and wood types to reflect popular colours and patterns. Simple lines and type bring a modern feel to the product line.
About Me
Think like a kid. Grownups take the imagination out of kids. We tell them things don't exist. They aren't real. Design should cross the boundary back into childhood belief--it should suspend disbelief and open up impossible realms of alternate reality. Play like an athlete. When a person stops learning, their usefulness is gone. Art and design are constantly evolving and every good designer works hard and plays harder-- always pushing the limits of imagination and medium. Creativity grows when it is exercised. Work like a farmer. A person who plants should be a person who reaps. Every sprout of an idea should be fed and nurtured and brought to full fruition. Only then is there full satisfaction in the creative process. Some may take more time than others, but with attention and care, every thought, every idea has the potential for infinite growth.
