Phase 1: graphics

ok, for the graphics work the basic site model will be very similar to this site here:

we like the 3-d effect and rounded [url removed, login to view]://[url removed, login to view]

the [url removed, login to view] is the blue that we have chosen to be integral to the site and should probably also be used (or a derivate) as a gradient for the side areas running from top to bottom as light to dark

(request the file if needed).

there should be lots of clean white space for text area, possibly a slightly opaque pearlized background layer on top of white for the text to add some type of dimension.

some other complimentary color options that might work are white, pearlized white, silver greys...

we like sites that have some dimension, just a little but not too much to the point where it becomes distracting to a visitor that will be mainly there to actually read a lot of informational text.

here are some other ideas we have listed:

The font on our nav bar should be bolded, see [url removed, login to view]

Their nav bar also has a slight gradient giving it a slight depth contour 3-d effect.

I like the readability of this site, really about the font type and size for the articles and blog

possibly Font � Georgia Font, size 11 or even 12, for articles, blogs, etc.
