I'm in need of a specialist who has extensive experience in configuring remote desktop user environments on a Windows Server 2019 system. The specific tasks are as follows:
- Setting up a designated program (Windows Server 2019) to automatically launch upon a user's remote login.
- Ensuring that the interface of the said program is displayed remotely for the user.
- Making certain that, upon the completion of its task, the program returns to the desktop, and subsequently logs the user off.
Having advanced knowledge of Windows Server and remote desktop configurations would be a definite plus. It's also important to be able to work efficiently and with precision. The environment tab in the user properties performed this correctly in Server 2008 R2. I am already doing a work around using group policies.
