I am looking for remote assistance to get 2 computers working properly.
One computer is showing very low memory and basic tasks are not possible to carry out. I need somebody to clean the system and get it working at a good speed hopefully around the current files we use, without having to format everything. However files can be removed if this is necessary.
Another computer, seems to be working at a good speed but since installing the operating system again the monitor says input not recognised when I try and change the resolution. It is possible that I maybe I have damaged something formatting partitioned space when trying to avoid having two operating systems installed on the same computer. The Acer flat screen monitor driver does not appear to be available on the acer website, and I have tried to download other driver files, but cannot workout where to go from there. Also a couple of software programmes do not work since I installed the operating system on this computer. These programmes need to be able to work on the new install, as well as being able to set the screen resolution.
We can provide remote assistance access through logmein, and the operating systems are xp professional.

Hi, I might relist this work as two separate jobs, if possible please let me know what your breakdown would be to do each job. I think the 2nd computer has less serious issues than the first one. I might start with trying to fix that first.

ref problem with 2nd computer I can get the computer to work with 1024 by 768 on low color quality 8 bit, but not on medium 16 or high 32. The monitor is Acer AL1706, the computer is Packard Bell, Imedia, Pentium 4 (2nd hand - so I don't know if any components have been swapped e.g. to low quality graphics card). This is first time I have set the computer up with XP Professional and Office 2003. I am unable to get various versions of CFABS software to work on the computer e.g. Version 1.05 downloadable from download.com. These software programs work ok on my other computers. I don't have software accessible for the monitor or motherboard. The internet connection speed is by belkin G adapter to wireless hub, to give an idea of remote access, the strength normally says 50%. Please send me any further questions. Thank you for your bids.
