My website will market only digital art prints. If this is your background then the following will be redundant. I include the following only to clue you in on a couple of questions you might still have. Please ask for clarification:
>> The web builder will be experienced in the appropriate kind of work to avert time spent on learning curves.
>> The work is digital only and there is no physical product to sell. The work is all original.
>> The designs are intended for commercial application, ie bars, restaurants as well as home decor.
>> The target buyer is high end niche.
>> The product may be printed by the buyer onto own choice of substrate by third party or digital projected or plasma displayed to create changing atmosphere where required.
>> Watermarking: The images will require the modicum of protection afforded by digital invisible watermarking thus strong experience in watermarking is required of web builder.
>> A lo-res-lo-dimension thumbnail will be provided for sales viewing.
>> The image itself will be available in a range of sizes measured in pixels. Knowledge of optimum print sizing considerations will be required of web builder.
>> A back office charging system will be implemented charging via paypal, bank transfer, etc.
