Experienced graphic/web designer required

Growing Advertising Agency seeking web designer to work on an hourly basis initially and to assist in creating websites, blogs, landing pages, banners and other advertising media. We are really looking for someone who can grow with us as our business grows. We want a web designer who is committed to doing quality work, has graphic design sense, creative flair and strong attention to detail . . . not just a programmer. Marketing experience is a plus.

Candidate should be a professional, self-starter with an enthusiastic, positive attitude and a strong work ethic. We are all very happy, easy-going types, but are serious about what we do.

Requirements:


- Understanding of and experience with HTML, CSS


- Proficient with computer graphics applications (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Adobe Reader and Adobe Creative Suite)


- Thorough understanding of design fundamentals: color choice, layout and typography


- Thorough understanding of internet current and upcoming trends


- Command of the creative requirements of marketing and interactive multimedia.


- Self-reliant and able to work independently or as part of a team.


- Can think independently

- Skilled oral and written communicator
