Memberstack Custom Script

I have a new content-focused website created with Webflow / Memberstack, would like the gated content feature to work so that:
1) If non-registered users click a link to a gated article page, they see a preview of that article but are required to sign-up for full access. For example, the following site has this functionality in place: [login to view URL]
2) If registered users click that same link to a gated article page, the system either a) recognizes the (logged in) user and automatically displays the full article, or b) still has the user login, but then redirects them back to the specific article they were attempting to view.
My understanding is that this isn’t possible with standard Memberstack functionality, but may be through custom code.
