Sales Specialist
$15-25 CAD / hour
The Sale Specialist at Gigus will go above and beyond, to identify interest and increase sales, at every opportunity. They establish and maintain relationships, and drive business results through effective selling and exceptional customer service.
The primary role is to effectively identify and help close new prospects in a productive and professional manner including heroic support for existing customers. You will be working within a very fast paced media and technology startup on a mission to positively impact the world. We build software that moves the positively impacts the globe.
Will be working directly with the company founder. Will be conducting prospecting research, directing email marketing campaigns, linkedin campaigns, fielding warm and cold calls, direct proposal and RFP development, slide deck sales presentations, partnership opportunity development and supporting final sales negotiations. Will also be working closely with other team members in diverse roles and also managing administrative tasks, such as data entry, competitor analysis, industry research, and customer relationship management activities.
Duties:
Search new prospects / future clients that could benefit from Space Age products and/or services and maximizing customer potential
Win new business and meet company booking and revenue targets
Establishing new and maintaining existing long-term rapport with customers
Managing and interpreting customer requirements - listening to clients and using astute questioning to understand, anticipate and exceed their needs
Convincing qualified prospects that a beneficial product or service will satisfy their needs in terms of quality, value, delivery and support
Negotiating contract terms, to meet both client and company needs
Negotiating and closing sales within agreeable terms and conditions
Help manage account receivables
What you’ll need:
Attributes/skill requirements:
Outstanding customer service to improve customer satisfaction and relationships
Degree from an accredited institution or working towards completing that degree
You will be working with prospects throughout Canada and the USA remotely from Toronto.
Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or inside sales
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or compatible Google / Apple Business Suites
Commission / performance based experience a big plus

This is a remote WFH job (aren't they all) to start but the ability to work from our downtown Toronto office will be optionally available over the long term.
