VMWARE MACHINE / Linux - CentOS6.64 Help with server security, maintenance, and performance

We are looking for a server programmer who has an expertise with the following:

PROCESSOR 2cores - 1.7 GHz CLOUD CPU

SYSTEM OS Linux - CentOS6.64
RAM 8 GB
HDD 170 GB
The first task would be to update our current kernel version + update MySQL bind address:

Update the system’s software by running ’yum update’ from the command line and reboot the system.

We will also need help with testing our current server to determine what is needed to upgrade its current performance (e.g. more RAM, increased CPU, etc.)
If we are satisfied with the work of the programmer who is awarded the contract, future server work is to be expected.
A first small contract which could lead to bigger things.
