I want to create a system that detects similar works done by students in their final year projects (offline) without making use of any online tool.

The system will make use of the ".doc" or ".docx" document they uploaded then that file will be converted to plain text and the plain text will be stored in the database. Later on, that plain text is going to be compared with the other plain texts of the converted documents of the students that uploaded their projects.

It will then compare them to find out similarity. If by means, there is exact match from any of the texts stored in the database, it displays it to the browser showing the amount of text copied and also from which student the text came from.

NB: What i'm really interested in is the:

**DOCUMENT UPLOAD AND STORING IT IN A FOLDER AND THE NAME IN DATABASE, AS WELL AS CONVERTING IT TO PLAIN TEXT

**STORING THE PLAIN TEXT OF THE DOCUMENT IN DATABASE

**COMPARING THE STORED TEXTS WITH OTHER TEXTS IN THE DATABASE FOR SIMILARITIES
