I am seeking a proficient programmer with experience in educational software to create a comprehensive school management system. Suitable candidates will have experience with multi-platform responsiveness—particularly in regards to browsers, iOS, and Android devices—as this system must function across all. Sought functionality includes:
* Attendance Tracking: Facilitating daily management of student absences and attendance tracking.
* Gradebook Management: Enabling teachers to input, manage and analyze grades effectively.
* Parent-Teacher Communication: Providing an easy communication pathway between parents and teachers, allowing for updates and information sharing.
The system needs to support various user roles including:
* Administrators: Who will have ultimate control over system settings
* Teachers: Who can manage gradebooks and communicate with parents
* Parents: Who should be able to access their children's grades and teachers' messages
* Students: who should be able to track their own grades and attendance.
A sound understanding of user roles and permissions, along with a background in developing secure and efficient communication tools, is a significant plus for applicants.
