canonical tags change

needed canonical tags change for my categories for a Mechbunny script. The request from SEO is below, believe this should be a rather basic project but also rather urgent.

When I check the canonical tags the other day, they seemed to be correct. But checking them today there is an issue for some categories.
Eg. for this page [login to view URL]
The canonical tag for this page is [login to view URL]
Which is correct.
But when I visit [login to view URL]
The canonical tag on this page should also be [login to view URL]
But instead it is https://www.gayboystube.com/channels/41// which returns a 404 error.
If the canonical tags are not correct on the relevant pages, Google will ignore them and the duplicate content will still exist.
Can you please check the implementation of the canonical tags to make sure all channels have the correct tags?"
