Create condition to apply full width (no sidebar) to posts of specific category

This is a popular function requested and resolved on Wordpress forums, unfortunately I cannot get it to work. I would need to conditidional statement to be flexible enough so that I can include additional categories in the future if ever required.

As far as I know from what I've read in the forums this is something that only requires a few lines on two files, [login to view URL] and styles.css. I would expect this to be completed withing a couple of hours after the project is awarded.
