Connect 4 game using Arduino to run stepper motor

The project is based on connect 4 game. There are 2 stepper motor which need to be control through Arduino code. The software should be able to move the dispenser to the wanted area when the number will be pressed. Each different number means certain area.
for example- when 01 is pressed the dispenser moves to the 1st hole of the board.
when 02 is pressed the dispenser moves to the 2nd hole of the board.
All together there are 49 holes so 49 different inputs and area the dispenser needs to move to. I will be using 16 x2 LCD screen with buttons so the number being pressed should show on the screen.
