Read data from an XML file into an HTML page. The data is grouped and sorted already. The subset of data loaded will depend on the value they select in a combobox or via a hyperlinked graphic. Most of this functionality is in place already and simply needs to be copied and pasted to another web page. There is also a search requirement. The details are included in the attached zip file. Therein, you will find a detailed specification in MS Word with lots of graphics. You will also find a data file that is grouped and sorted already.

The main requirement is time. This will absolutely have to be done within seven days of being given the project. If you are an average programmer and you commit to this project, you could probably have it done in four hours. We are programmers ourselves but we program on Windows and MacIntosh platforms and are simply not familiar with the LAMP platform we inherited. The seven days will include plenty of on your part to fix any items that need to be fixed or fine tuned. In addition to being reviewed by the buyer, the changes need to be reviewed by a small committee of museum trustees so you should provide plenty of lead time. The seven days is non-negotiable. If you cannot have a working draft back to us in three or four days, you should probably pass on this project. If you can, this is easy money and an easy 10 for your performance review. Details are in the attached file.
