I would like the following project written for a palm and pocket pc using appforge/visual basic. Round 1 is for Palm first. The main funcionts that the program will have... Ability to add/edit/search customers depending on your access Ability to add/edit/search staff depending on your access Ability to edit/search work orders depending on your access GPS On the customer Address, staff Address, Work Order Address there will be a button to activate the GPS software on the PDA. The program will plot the address point on the GPS. Coder will recommend GPS and software. Work Order will be able to collect up to 2 signatures for each work order. SYNCHING: If you are an admin: Prompt your for the day: (default today is no input in a few seconds go) Go out to web site and... Download all Staff Download all Customers Download work orders for that day. Upload any changes made to the PDA Upload work order signatures If you are an staff: Prompt your for the day:(default today is no input in a few seconds go) Go out to web site and... Download all Customers for the work orders for that day. Download work orders for that day. Upload any changes made to the PDA Upload work order signatures Customers: It will download customer profile including customer fields..admin will be able to add a new customer. staff will be able to edit. All will be able to search. Staff: Admin will be able to add/edit/search Work Orders: Admin will be able to add a new work order (giving a temp key) and when you synch it adds the new work order. All can search. All will be able to edit. The synch should also download the custom fields. Setup: Label Define so a user can know what their custom fields are for customer and work order. Store username and password and url?. WEB ACTION SCRIPTS: Since you will not have access to the database and all will be through the web. I will create action scripts to collect or spit back the information. I can return an error code is something fails... That's the jist of it.... Once approved you will need to sign a non disclosure agreement and I will provide you with the site and a demo account.
