An accountancy package with Sales, Purchase and Nominal ledgers, stock control and invoice / credit note production. The system will be written in VB6 with section for parameters where the user can determine the database used. This database will be Access or MySql or Microsoft SQL server and selected via a radio button. The system will have clearly identified within a security file settings for no of concurrent users, no of companies. There will be an area where users can add fields to a screen so they can store additional information if required. there will be a simple screen layout facility. This option will also be made available/unavailable via a code setting. All reports will be available via a report generator. The report generator will also be available / unavailable via a code setting. The system will be added to later and the successful bidder will be given the opportunity to add other facilities on a chargeable basis and undertake special bespoke modifications. The system will include flexible period settings and period end routines, user friendly installation and interface and it's own backup facility. for those unfamiliar with accounts we are prepared to explain the facilities required. The system must be professional, robust, multi user, user friendly and easy to install. We will look closely at price since there may significant opportunities for chargeable add ons and modifications as the project progresses. Full spec will be made available on selection of coder. A fuller spec has been attached. The bid value entered must be for the completed project. You may break down the total for each stage if you wish
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
## Platform
VB6, MySQL, MS SQL server and Access databases all versions of windows from 98 up. Must have an option to run single user, or networked.
## Deadline information
Please note the deadline is for complete project. Stage 1 must be completed by 31 mar 2003 and stage 2 by end of april. For payment purposes stage 1 will be considered to be 1/6 of the total project.
