VTS System’s subsystems & components
1 VTS system has two software Subsystems:
1.1 Control Centre – Desktop based Application
To manage and control different Carriers/Devices from the Server
1.2 Web Based System for Viewers
This allows users to view the current locations of their Carriers.
2. Technology components: Components essentially required like GPS Tracking device, a Mobile SIM card
Control Centre Software:
Control Centre Software is basically meant to Communicate with the Devices and will activate/Deactivate Outputs on demand. This software has a separate Login System to protect it from General Usage. The Device’s Location information and Alerts are received by This Software and updated to the Database for Web Based system to reflect on the Web
Web Based System for Viewers :
This System will allow users to view and update the information depending upon their Resources (Permissions). They can update their following information based on the Permissions
1. Account Login info
2. Create/Modify Organisation info
3. Carriers under their Account
4. Devices under their Account
5. Monitors under their Account
6. Target under their Account
Technology components: GPS Integrated is based on GPS (Global Position System), GSM (Global System of Mobile) Mobile & Web Technologies. This service require you to purchase a GPS Tracking device, a Mobile SIM card and Web & Mobile based account login on VTS.com. You will incur monthly cost for Mobile SIM card and Web based account login.
