Language detection script (using PHP)

Hi, I am interested in a PHP script that I can use to detect the language of different texts. Texts are all in UTF8 and are written in all the main languages. I plan to use this on over 1 million pieces of text and that in a rather short period of time so the Google API for that I believe it isn't the right choice. I use now [url removed, login to view] but they don't detect languages like Chinese/Japanese. If you could fix the above mentioned PHP class so it detects such languages or you have a better approach please contact me, I'd be glad to discuss the details. Thanks, Alex
