This project involves the development of a Content Management System (CMS) for real estate. The CMS will be used to manage detailed property content. Information that will be stored in the CMS will include:
• Property descriptions, attributes, and amenities
• Photos, virtual tours (links), videos (links)
• Sales persons information
This project will involve database design work, creating a data importer, and a property view.
The solution should be developed using PHP/MySQL. It is preferred (but not required) that an open-sourced CMS such as Joomla, Drupal, or WordPress be used has as the foundation of the CMS. Custom form would need to be added for managing property information
An importer would have to be built. The import file is a pipe delimited (|) containing property and sales person information. Field name, description, length will be provided.
Photos are to be placed on web server. Properties should link to the photos.
