Coding Path In Applet

I get a "not initiated" error when I compile and run my applet on my webserver using this path:

/* Get clip */

clipSong = getFileSize ( "<[url removed, login to view]>" + songno + ".wav" );

But when I use the following path, my applet works fine:

/* Get clip */

clipSong = getClip ( "media/" + songno + ".wav" );

The reason I am using the first path above is because the files I want to access are located on a webserver elsewhere and not the same webserver where the applet am running is.

Please can you tell me how to code a remote path so the error stops.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
