Problems involving Relational Algebra and Functional Dependencies I have 7 problems, a total of 14 short questions, based upon 4 tables which require solutions. Of the four tables the largest is only 7 rows, and each table has only 2 columns. The seven problems deal with, - translation of SQL queries into relational algebra - explanation of relational calculus with subsequent translation into SQL - determination of functional dependencies and candidate keys from a short schema - determination of functional dependencies etc - basis from which all functional dependencies can be derived based upon a small table Where required to produce SQL, preferred version is PostgreSQL. This should be a quick and easy project for somebody familiar with relational algebra and functional dependencies.
