An integrative healthcare start-up headed by a successful entrepreneur & solid team is building very robust systems for individuals to manage their own healthcare. In order to do so, it is critical that our site conveys the heart of that mission and has an elegant design that makes it easy and welcoming for people to use. You will be the Architect responsible for deliver Version 1.0 of our Core Web Application which includes: Building content management systems Custom eCommerce systems with integrated or external inventory database integration Architecting and building unique online content, experiences and systems You must be able to play nice with others including designers, project managers and especially clients ??" who you will need to interface with at times to understand, document and deliver upon their requirements. Things you GOTTA have: 3-5 years of web development PHP, MySQL, SSL, XHTML, CSS, XML Experience with open-source CMS as well as creating custom CMS Excellent Writing Skills A sense of humor with some passion and desire AJAX, RoR Things we'd like you to have: ITIL - Six Sigma Experience Front-end development (slicing and coding) This is potentially an off-site position. This is not full-time but could lead to it for the right person.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
