We are looking for a highly motivated person with the desire to continually grow their knowledge and expertise in web development products. The responsibility of this position will be to maintain, develop, & enhance a flagship web portal [url removed, login to view] . You will be the main programmer and have direct contact with Sr. management to help design, analyze, develop, implement and maintain the various business development projects including several web portals, web applications, iPhone and Android applications and any other development projects as assigned by Sr. Management. Web products include frontend user interfaces with backend database products including e-commerce.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Helps design, develop and implement software applications for web sites and other projects.
• Improve efficiency and effectiveness of existing web functions.
• Improve user and admin interactive response times.
• Perform Analysis and Design based on business requirements.
• Handles implementation and maintenance of business development solutions as assigned.
• Take screen/UI mockups and write code.
• Implements proper software code and application testing.
• Develop modifications to existing software.
• Optimize MS SQL Server database.
• Any other development projects as assigned.
Skills Needed:
• BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Personal Development computer/environment
• 5+ years .NET programming including C# and ASP.NET, XML, Visual Studio 2010 & sub-sonic
• 4+ years hands-on experience with MS SQL Server 2008R2
• A understanding of HTML, CSS, Flash, JavaScript, and Multimedia applications
• Demonstrated web graphic design, and web user interface design experience
• iPhone & Android development experience a plus
• Photoshop, CS4 a plus
• SEO experience a plus
