Fix layout in IE6, 7 & 8

I have two pages which are already built but require tweaks to work in IE6, 7 and 8. I am happy for CSS hacks to be used if necessary, JavaScript may be used to make things work in IE6 (only), and it mustn't break the layout in other browsers such as Firefox, Chrome and Safari.

I have two pages, a category page and a product page - see below for examples:

These pages render fine in the likes of Firefox, Safari and Chrome but have issues in IE8, IE7 and IE6. Specifically the issues occur around the resizing of product images, the positioning in their parent div and the impact on the layout caused by the images and their containing divs. Please see existing code to see how this is currently being acheived in the other browsers.
The objective of this project is to correct the issues in IE6, IE7 and IE8 so that they look correct, as seen in the other aforementioned major browsers.
