IFrame or link integration in MTDb - Ultimate Movie&TV Database

Option 1: I need instead of the movie player an iframe integrated.

Option 2: I need to add a link to the player.

URL example for the iframe/link: [login to view URL]$variable

By type movie needs to be the variable "imdb_id" and by type tv/series "tmdb_id"

Please tell me what would be the better solution and why.
